Announcement of Houblon Bastien's closure

Dear friends, clients, partners, and suppliers,

Houblon Bastien has always represented much more than just a business: a project close to our hearts that began in 2016. We take great pride in our achievements, including our facilities, processes, and lands, the people we've met, and the strong relationships we've built. Throughout this journey, our guiding principles have always been superior quality, transparency, integrity, and the promotion of long-term relationships.

Unfortunately, we have decided to end our production. The decision was taken with the utmost sadness; we announce today that there will be no 2024 harvest for Houblon Bastien. The unfavorable climate for cultivation in Quebec combined with a challenging economic context, has forced us to make this decision.

We want to express our sincere gratitude for your unwavering support and loyalty. We want to inform you that we still have hops from our 2023 harvest, and our team is always available to assist you through this transition. We remain committed to supporting local microbreweries and promoting Quebec beers. We have always believed in the importance of local purchasing and the value of local products. We are particularly proud to have initiated three collaborations to highlight local producers' expertise. As such, we are also open to collaborations to conclude our adventure in the best possible way. Please feel free to contact us and place your upcoming orders with us.

Thank you for being part of our story.
